Play the drums that D. J. Played

D. J. Fontana played these drums (see below) at RCA Studio B, in Nashville,
in a recording session of the song "The Last American Rebel"
After the session the drums were donated to Jackson, Tennessee,s
"International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame".

Elvis Collection adds to Jackson's Tourist Attraction!

Sandra Britt donated a number of major magazines, and pictures,
containing photographs and stories of Elvis Presley
to Jackson, Tennessee's "International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame".

Her "Elvis Collection" will be featured at the hall of fame beginning Monday,
September 11th, at 10:00 AM. Samples of the pictures are

Donations to the hall of fame will be accepted to help advertise Jackson
as one of Tennessee's music tourist attractions.

Guided tours, which includes special videos made by Johnny Cash, Brenda Lee,
Wanda Jackson, D, J. Fontana, the Jordanaires and other major music artists
are available for a $10.00 donation between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily at the
Hall of fame.

Freedom Certificate

Johnny Cash, General William Westmoreland, Admiral Thomas Moorer and Captain Eugene McDaniel signed a freedom certificate to honor the men and women who served in the United States military in all wars. They met in the Elvis Presley Suite, Crowne Plaza Motel, in Memphis, Tennessee to promote and publicize a special "Freedom Train" which was to tour the United States and honor the United States men and women who served in all wars and allow us to live in freedom today.

This Freedom Certificate was signed in the presence of Henry Harrison, W. S. Holland and Don Hill. It has been donated to "The International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame, Inc." by Henry Harrison.
