Carl Mann
A Rockabilly History Maker to be honored

Carl Mann will be honored Friday night, October 22
in Jackson, Tennessee's "International Rock-A-Billy
Hall of Fame". Carl's hit record "Mona Lisa" helped
elevate Sam Phillips and Sun Records onto the worlds
stage and forever secured a Carl a special place in
Rockabilly Music History. Other hits followed by
but "Mona Lisa" became Carl's signature song.

News media personnel in Europe, Australia, Canada
and the United States are invited to attend and to send
posters, pictures, programs, records, and personal
interviews with Carl. These items will be used in
Carl's display in the hall of fame.

"Hey bub, Elvis is watching you" This was read at Henry's induction into the "Memphis Amateur Boxing Hall of Fame" Both went to Dave Wells Community Center in Memphis and lived only a few blocks from each other in Memphis.

Carl Perkins asked Henry to be President of the Child Abuse Prevention Center he was building in Jackson, Tennessee and help him raise the money. (He worked with Carl for years)

Uncle Frank cut Johnny Cash's hair at Dyess, Arkansas. He was the local barber for many of the farm boys who lived in North East Arkansas.

Narvel Felts lived a few miles form Dyess at Kaiser, Arkansas.  (Henry was born only a few miles away at Marie, Arkansas)

Henry produced shows of: Johnny Cash, the Statler Bros., Hank Williams Jr, Charlie Daniels Band, Tammy Wynette, Willie Nelson, Wayland Jennings, and many other artists in Jackson, Tennessee.

Nominations for inductees into "International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame"


Nominations for inductees into "International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame"
are now being accepted


The most significant, most respected and most revered
Rockabilly Music History Makers are memorialized in the "International
Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame". Sixteen of these musical icons are remembered
with life size oil Portraits which hang permanently inside the "International
Rock- A-Billy Hall of Fame".

New inductees, who are selected, will be asked to record the stories
of the special happenings and events which occurred during their life time.
These video recordings will become a permanent part of the Hall of Fame's
video library. Our video library may be the first, and possibly the only,
video recordings of Rockabilly Music and Musicians in existence today
made from the mouth and memory of the artists who made music history.

Nominations for induction must be submitted in writing or by mail
to the

(Photographs and memorabilia submitted will become the permanent
property of the hall of fame and may be considered for display at a later date).

Freedom Certificate

Johnny Cash, General William Westmoreland, Admiral Thomas Moorer and Captain Eugene McDaniel signed a freedom certificate to honor the men and women who served in the United States military in all wars. They met in the Elvis Presley Suite, Crowne Plaza Motel, in Memphis, Tennessee to promote and publicize a special "Freedom Train" which was to tour the United States and honor the United States men and women who served in all wars and allow us to live in freedom today.

This Freedom Certificate was signed in the presence of Henry Harrison, W. S. Holland and Don Hill. It has been donated to "The International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame, Inc." by Henry Harrison.
